Lancaster House and York House are luxury properties located in Orton on the Hill. Neither house had access to mains drainage or open watercourses within the vicinity of the site, so alternative means of drainage had to be sought.

SuDS Designs by JMS Civils designed an innovative system from Groundwater Dynamics which conveys water by pressure differentials to suitable ground at depth. This method was used to drain both the treated foul and surface water from the site. The final build closely represents the original brief, without compromise and the contemporary look complements the character of the village.
