SuDS Designs by JMS Civils provided civil engineering solutions for the extension of Christ Church in Colchester, Essex, delivering sustainable solutions tailored to the site. The project included the design of surface and foul water drainage systems, incorporating Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and flow-control measures, with options for infiltration or pumped systems based on site-specific conditions.
SuDS Designs also planned unreinforced concrete trench foundations to suit the ground conditions, ensuring a robust and efficient base for the extension.
